U.S. holds 10,000 more detainees in Iraq than last year, commander says

BAGHDAD: The U.S. military is holding 10,000 more persons in detention in Iraq than at this time last year, but the numbers are well below the maximum detention capacity in the country, a U.S. military commander said Wednesday.
