Michael Calderone's Blog: Campbell takes on Rush

If I haven't said this before I detest Rush Limbaugh...but, who doesn't? On the other hand, I'd really like to see what CNN's got! Not Ali Velshi necessarily. Wolf Blitzer? No, boring... Campbell Brown? Hmmmm...isn't she supposed to be impartial on her show or something to that effect? I guess we'll just have to see how this plays out!

Joe the Plumber: McCain "Appalled Me," Made Me Feel "Dirty"

The monster turns against Frankenstein : you created my character, I'll retaliate with character assassination.
Politico reports that Joe Wurzelbacher isn't a huge fan of the man who made him famous. He told conservative radio host Glenn Beck that he felt "dirty" after "being on the campaign trail and seeing some of the things that take place."

In fact, I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.

The Buzz: Hillary now a no-go?

Secretary of State Buzz continued Tuesday about the possibility that Hillary Rodham Clinton will be Barack Obama’s secretary of state — though Clinton insiders also told Politico that the New York senator might reject the job.
There are also concerns about the idea in some precincts of Obamaland. From his supporters in the liberal wing of the Democratic Party to campaign aides of the soon-to-be president, there’s a sense of ambivalence about giving a political plum to a woman they spent 18 months hammering as the compromised standard-bearer of an era that deserves to be forgotten.
“These are people who believe in this stuff more than Barack himself does,” said a Democrat close to Obama’s campaign. “These guys didn’t put together a campaign in order to turn the government over to the Clintons.”
— Ben Smith
