Bush and his promising future?

It's funny that Bush can look forward to a future...when I had hoped he'd be concerned about serving time for war crimes that he and Cheney have committed. But, that's a fantasy with our government and our society. All this will be long forgotten and the only people to pay the price are the Troops, the people of Iraq, and the American people (unknowingly, because most Americans don't realize that the war effects them, unless they have loved one fighting in it)...all while Bush gets paid to speak? Who would want to listen to him? From:

The New York Times reports in a September 2, 2007, article that President Bush dropped his guard recently with his biographer, author Robert Draper. Looking forward to the future, he said, "I’ll give some speeches, just to replenish the ol’ coffers.” With assets that have been estimated as high as nearly $21 million, Mr. Bush added, “I don’t know what my dad gets — it’s more than 50-75” thousand dollars a speech, and “Clinton’s making a lot of money.” According to President Bush, he wants, “To get us in a position where the presidential candidates will be comfortable about sustaining a presence,” and, he said later, “stay longer.”
Thus, President Bush likely enjoyed being able to report continued gains in security in Iraq. According to him, these gains may allow for a reduction in U.S. troops.
