Obama and McCain to Meet on Monday.

This shows the desire of President-elect Obama to heal the divide between Blue & Red America...
Former presidential rivals Barack Obama and John McCain will have their first face-to-face meeting Monday at President-elect Obama’s transition office in Chicago.
“It’s well known that they share an important belief that Americans want and deserve a more effective and efficient government, and will discuss ways to work together to make that a reality,” Obama-Biden transition spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said in a statement.
Also attending the meeting is Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of McCain’s closest friends and political allies, and recently named White House Chief of Staff, Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Illinois. The two men have worked well together before on behalf of their candidates—Emanuel and Graham were the rival campaigns’ debate proxies tasked with negotiating the terms of the presidential debates earlier this year. Graham also praised Obama’s selection of Emanuel as a “wise choice” for chief of staff.
