When McCain told Obama "I'm not Bush, you should have run against Bush 4 years ago" voters weren't impressed because of the obvious: Why didn’t McCain run against Bush 4 years ago - as he had 4 years before that? Instead, McCain campaigned for Bush’s re-election, cheered for Bush policies and helped lower America into the pit where we are today.
