45.7 million Americans lacked health insurance in 2007 -- you fail to mention that these include illegal aliens who are not Americans. The disparity cited between Whites and Hispanics can be explained by the difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL residents in the US. Do your homework and realize that using census data doesn't give the true picture.
