Act Now To Stop Violence Against Women & Children

On July 3, psychologist Stuart Greenberg, a nationally renowned expert on child sexual abuse, and former president of the American Board of Forensic Psychology was arrested for videotaping women using the restroom of his Seattle-area practice. Afterward, he masturbated to the images, police said.

Greenberg confessed to surreptitiously videotaping several women, then on July 25, he committed suicide .

Greenberg worked as a consultant to the Archdiocese of Seattle, helping them to defend themselves in priest-abuse cases.

Greenberg was frequently appointed as a parenting evaluator in child-custody cases. Parenting evaluators, whose job is to assess parties and claims of abuse in a custody dispute, carry tremendous power ; judges often rely heavily and uncritically on their recommendations.

The perverted nature of Greenberg's professional misconduct and criminal actions casts doubt on his judgment in cases where sexual abuse was alleged.

Please sign the letter (by clicking on the source link below) to join Stop Family Violence in urging the state of Washington to investigate Greenberg's cases to ensure that victims of abuse are safe.
