PITTSFIELD — Deval Patrick made a final campaign swing through Western Massachusetts yesterday, striking a triumphant note as he rallied a crowd of about 300 people on the steps of Pittsfield High School.
Patrick, the Democratic candidate for governor, stuck to his message of hope and change as he urged the audience to ignore the polls that show him with a double-digit lead over Republican rival Kerry Healey and to work until Election Day is over.
