We all need to stand up and declare our opposition to torture and ill-treatment, to hold military officers and civilian leaders accountable for the mistreatment and torture of detainees who are currently being held as part of the "war on terror", and to press the U.S. government to end the practice of extraordinary rendition (or outsourcing of torture).
