When I turned on the tube yesterday and saw peaceful people being hauled away in handcuffs for protesting the war in Iraq, I was more than irate. Not surprised, of course. I then remembered that the president 'pardoned' 2 turkeys from the Thanksgiving executioner recently. Yet, he then goes to his Crawford, Texas hideout for his Thanksgiving feast (where I'm sure he'll be eating turkey), and decides to call the po-po to arrest peaceful people (Cindy Sheehan's sister, Dede Miller for instance) for "illegal camping"?I guess Mr. Bush can't bear the thought of a couple of innocent turkeys' dying? But, certainly doesn't have a problem with his conscience when he lied to us all and sent our patriotic sons & daughters, to die in an unjust war.
